TRACING OUR HISTORY FROM BROOKLYN TO BRICKLYN
Bricklyn’s founder, Ed Stockley,
is a native of Brooklyn, New York. In this setting,
he was always exposed to excellent Italian food. With
a special love for pizza, he spent years acquiring great
recipes and sampling pizza in cities nationwide during
his travels. With
this storehouse of personal knowledge in hand, Stockley
came to one conclusion:
- New York Style Pizza was by
far the best tasting anywhere – and he wanted
to make it easily available to pizza lovers…everywhere!
But, first, there was one big question
to be answered - Why did New York Style Pizza
taste so good? What was the underlying secret?
What Stockley discovered is what New
Yorkers have always known since the first pizzeria was
opened in their city in 1905: that the only way to achieve
pizza perfection every time is by cooking the pie in
a brick oven. At that time, however, a commercial
oven was not available
for mass use that met Stockley’s key elements for
success:
- Simple to use
- Foolproof for the preparer
- Fast, one-touch cooking process
- And pre-programmable to ensure consistent
cooking each time
for pizzas as well as every Bricklyn®
food product
As the saying goes, “Necessity is
the mother of invention.” And so, enter…
The Bricklyn® “Quick
Brick Oven,”
