While living in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York, Ed Stockley, Bricklyn’s founder, was continually exposed to great Italian food – especially in excellent pizzerias. After traveling to many other areas of the U.S., he concluded that New York Style pizza was by far the best-tasting pizza to be found. And he began a personal quest to make it available to pizza lovers everywhere!

Stockley then spent years developing the best New York Style pizza product possible, with an emphasis on all of the three major pizza components – the crust, the sauce, and the cheese.

  • First, he wanted a flavorful raw dough crust that was light, not doughy, and crispy when baked in the oven – just like a fine pastry.
